Emergency Roof Tarping

Stop the Water. Protect the Property. Plan the Permanent Repair.

When a storm opens up your roof, continued rain can increase interior damage. Tarping buys you time to handle the claim and the permanent repair properly.

  • Rapid response during business hours
  • After-hours calls answered when crews are available
  • Damage photographed before and after tarping
  • Permanent repair scheduled from the same visit
  • Written workmanship guarantee
  • Manufacturer-specified installation
  • Licensed & insured in Alabama

Urgent response

Call first: availability depends on the storm

Tarping is triage. We cover the opening, secure the tarp so wind cannot get under it, and stop the water from reaching your insulation, drywall, and belongings. It is not a repair, and it is not meant to last a season.

Response times depend on conditions. On an ordinary day we can often be out the same day. After a widespread hail or wind event across North Alabama, every roofer in the region is triaging at once. We work the most severe interior damage first and give you an honest arrival window rather than a promise we cannot keep.

If your situation is dangerous, such as structural collapse, exposed electrical, or a tree still resting on the house, call emergency services and your utility before you call a roofer.

What we do

What emergency service covers

Storm tarping

Reinforced tarp installed and secured over the opening so wind does not tear it loose overnight.

Tree and limb impact

Once the limb is safely removed, we cover the deck damage and document it for your claim.

Active leak containment

We locate the entry point and stop the water path before it spreads across the ceiling.

Damage documentation

Photos before and after the tarp so your carrier can see the original condition.

Fast scheduling

Tarping visits convert straight into a scheduled inspection and repair, so nothing sits waiting.

Direct phone line

Urgent situations should be a phone call, not a form. Call us and talk to a person.

Included

When to call for emergency tarping

  • A limb or tree has punctured the roof
  • Wind lifted a large area of shingles or membrane

  • Skylight broken or displaced
  • Roof opening exposed with more rain forecast
  • Commercial roof membrane torn or peeled back

Our process

How an emergency call works

  1. 01

    You call

Tell us what happened and where the water is coming in. We triage by severity.

  2. 02

    Arrival window

We give you an honest window based on current conditions and crew availability.

  3. 03

    Tarp & document

The opening is covered and secured, and the damage is photographed for your records.

  4. 04

    Permanent repair

We schedule the inspection and repair, and support the claim conversation if one is open.

Why Cooper

Emergency work done responsibly

Straight answers on timing

After a regional storm we tell you where you are in the queue instead of overpromising.

Secured, not draped

A tarp that blows off at 2 a.m. is worse than no tarp. Ours are fastened to hold through weather.

One company through the fix

The same team that tarps handles the repair, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
